Tax exports

A package shaped for your filing type, ready to hand your CPA — not a filing itself.

What's in a package

Each export is a single package containing a tax-line summary, the supporting general-ledger detail behind each line, a trial balance, an asset and depreciation worksheet with the inputs your CPA needs, and a cover sheet. It's built to be handed off, not filed directly — Nummio doesn't e-file on your behalf.

Filing types

Packages are shaped for Schedule C, 1120, 1120S, and 1065. You choose your filing type once during setup, and it's what determines how your chart of accounts maps to the lines your export uses.

How accounts map to tax lines

Every account in your chart of accounts maps to a tax line for your filing type, or is explicitly excluded from the export if it shouldn't appear there. You can review and adjust that mapping from settings before you generate a package.

Running an export

Choose the period and generate the package. Because it's a snapshot of a specific period, running it again after your books change produces a new package rather than editing the old one in place — so whatever you handed your accountant stays exactly what they saw.
